but their id.

Sigil Codex has no folder of images. Every seal is produced by a published function from its token id alone, which means the art exists the instant a token does — no reveal, no pinning service, and nothing that can go missing later.

Drawn, not uploaded

Every seal is generated from its token id by a fixed function. There is no folder of PNGs, no pinning service to keep paying, and nothing to go missing in five years.

No reveal to wait for

Traits and art exist the moment a token is minted. The rarity table below was computed from all 8,888 pieces before the sale opened — nothing is hidden and nothing is drawn later.

Priced to be minted

0.019 ETH on the allowlist, 0.024 public, capped at three per wallet. A drop is not a fundraise; it is the beginning of the thing it funds.

The sale

Three phases, then it is done

The allowlist opened first and is closed. The public sale is open now. What is left goes into a final, uncapped window.

How it works

Four steps, one signature

No allowlist form to fill in, no reveal to wait for, and no second transaction to claim anything.

  1. 01

    Connect a wallet

The site discovers every injected wallet in your browser and lets you pick one. Nothing is signed, and no transaction is proposed, until you press Mint.

  2. 02

    Check your allowance

If your address is on the allowlist, the panel says so and shows the proof it will submit. If it is not, it tells you when the public phase opens instead of failing at the wallet.

  3. 03

    Mint up to three

Pick a quantity, confirm the total, sign once. The panel shows the transaction from pending to confirmed, then names the exact token ids you received.

  4. 04

    Look at what you got

Your pieces appear in the wallet page with their traits, their rarity rank and their position in the codex — immediately, with no reveal and no indexer to wait on.

Seven dimensions

Every trait, counted before the sale opened

Traits are derived from the token id, so the full distribution was known the moment the collection was defined. These are the real counts across all 8,888 pieces — not a sample, and not a projection.

Roadmap

Four things, and nothing that cannot be enforced

A roadmap is a list of promises somebody has to keep. This one is short on purpose, and every item on it is either already shipped or is a contract that can be written.

  1. SealedDone

    The codex is fixed

All 8,888 seals and their traits were generated and the rarity table published before a single mint. The generating function is in the repository; anyone can reproduce any piece.

  2. OpenedNow

    Allowlist and public sale

Two phases, forty-eight hours apart. The allowlist is a merkle tree of 2,400 addresses — the root is on the contract and every proof is checkable here before you mint.

  3. BoundNext

    On-chain renderer

The drawing function moves into a second contract, so tokenURI returns the art itself rather than a link to this site. The collection outlives its front end.

  4. CodexNext

    The second volume

Holders of three or more seals mint volume two at cost. Nothing is airdropped and nothing is promised beyond what the contract can enforce.

Who made it

Three people, named

Anonymous teams are normal in this corner of the internet. They should not be — so here is who wrote the drawing function, who wrote the contract, and who answers in the Discord.

AR

Anouk Reyes

Generative systems

Wrote the drawing function and the trait weights. Previously built plotter software for print studios; believes a piece you cannot regenerate from its id is not generative.

Idris Vale

Contracts

ERC-721 with a merkle allowlist and no proxy, no upgrade path and no admin mint after launch. Audited by two independent reviewers before the root went on-chain.

MS

Mira Söderberg

Community

Runs the allowlist and answers in the Discord in her own name. Has said no to every partnership that wanted an airdrop in exchange for reach.

Questions

Asked and answered

What exactly am I buying?

An ERC-721 token, and the seal that token id generates. The art is produced by a published function rather than stored as a file, so the piece is reproducible by anyone, forever, from the id alone.

How do I get on the allowlist?

The allowlist closed before the sale opened. Paste any address into the checker on this page and it will tell you whether that address is in the tree and what its allowance is — the answer comes from the same merkle root the contract holds.

Why is there no reveal?

A reveal exists to stop people sniping rare tokens out of the mempool before they are minted. Because every trait here is derived from the token id, and ids are handed out in order, there is nothing to snipe and nothing to hide behind.

What are the fees on secondary sales?

Five percent, set in the contract's ERC-2981 royalty info. Marketplaces that honour it will pay it to the treasury; the ones that do not, will not, and no amount of front-end code changes that.

Can the team mint more later?

No. Max supply is a constant in the contract and the reserve of 150 is minted to the treasury at deployment, before the sale opens. There is no owner function that mints.

What happens if this website disappears?

Your token is unaffected — it lives on the chain. Until the on-chain renderer ships, tokenURI points here for metadata, which is the honest limitation of every drop that has not moved its art on-chain yet. The renderer is the next milestone for exactly this reason.

Is this a real sale?

This is a template. With no contract address configured it runs in demo mode: the phases, the caps, the allowlist proofs and the receipts are all real code doing real work, but the mint is recorded in a local database and no wallet is ever asked to sign.

Take a seal.

6,047 remain. Each one is drawn the moment it is minted — there is nothing to wait for.
